Dr. Sue Sisley is denied by the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Medical Center

The study is funded by the Colorado Department of Health and approved by the appropriate federal agencies. It will be a clinical trial examining the effects of smoked Cannabis on Veterans diagnosed with PTSD.

The principal investigator, Dr. Sue Sisley has been denied the opportunity to present the study to the staff of the Phoenix VA. She was hoping they could recommend patients that would be appropriate for the study as it has “The highest density of veterans who meet those criteria...".

Things could change if a recent law signed by congress goes into effect. It allows doctors at VA's in states with medical Cannabis to discuss it as a treatment option.

After working tirelessly for years to get FDA approval for her Cannabis and PTSD study, Dr. Sue Sisley is being denied the opportunity to present her study to Staff that can help her the most.
